Set up a table in your browser, share its link and let everyone contribute without registering or installing an app.

Not every shared list needs user accounts, project-management software or a spreadsheet full of advanced features. When a group simply wants to collect names, tasks, dates or contributions, a small online table is often enough. The important part is that everyone can open it quickly and work with the same current version.

Tabble creates a new table directly in the browser. There is no registration and nothing to install. Each table receives a long, unguessable address. Anyone who knows the complete link can open and edit it.

When a simple online table works well

This approach is useful for short- and medium-term coordination: a potluck, jobs for a move, carpools, a shared shopping list or possible dates. Instead of sending several file versions by email, everyone contributes to one table.

For calculations, confidential business information, detailed permissions or permanent records, a full spreadsheet or specialist service is a better choice. Tabble deliberately focuses on straightforward organisational lists.

Create and share a table

  1. Choose a suitable template or start with a blank table.
  2. Give the table a title that explains its purpose.
  3. Use column names that make the expected entries clear.
  4. Add an example row if the structure is not self-explanatory.
  5. Copy the complete table link and send it to the participants.

Start with only the columns you need. You can add more later, while a wide and complicated table is difficult to use on a phone.

Editing together

Everyone opens the same link. Changes are saved cell by cell and other open browsers regularly check for updates. If two people edit precisely the same cell at the same time, the last saved change effectively wins. For typical lists this is uncommon; separate rows and cells can be maintained in parallel.

Treat the link as a key. There is no separate login that can revoke a link after it has been forwarded. Share it only with the intended group.

Privacy tip: Include only information required for the task. Passwords, medical details, confidential documents and extensive contact information do not belong in a table that is accessible through a shared link.

Pick a starting template

Use the shared to-do list for tasks or the group scheduler to compare dates. Templates are also available for shopping, potlucks and other everyday situations. Every resulting table can be adapted.

Common questions

Does everyone need a Tabble account?

No. Participants only need the full table link and a current web browser.

Can the table be changed later?

Yes. Its title, cells, rows and columns remain editable.

Is a table stored permanently?

Tabble does not promise permanent storage. Inactive tables may be deleted no earlier than 30 days after their last access. Export important results as a CSV file and keep your own copy.
